Make the Plant Unappealing to Cats
Some cats may be deterred by unpleasant tastes or smells. Spraying the plant with a mixture of water and lemon juice, vinegar, or garlic oil can make it less appealing. Alternatively, you can also try coating the leaves with pepper or cayenne powder.
Make the Plant Unreachable
Make the plant inaccessible to your cat. Move the plant to an area that is difficult for your cat to access or place a physical barrier around the plant. This could be as simple as a fence or as elaborate as a cat-proof terrarium.
Provide Cats with Alternatives
If your cat is drawn to the plant because of its texture or taste, provide them with alternatives. Try giving them cat-safe plants to chew on, such as cat grass or catnip. You can also provide them with toys or treats that can satisfy their need to chew.
Train Your Cat
